थाना किठौर पुलिस द्वारा पुलिस मुठभेड में एक शातिर लूटरा मय अवैध शस्त्र के साथ गिरफ्तार/घायल।

जनपद मेरठ के थाना किठौर क्षेत्रान्तर्गत रात्रि समय 22.09 बजे चेकिंग का अभियान चलाया जा रहा था। इस दौरान एक संदिग्ध अर्टिगा गाड़ी गुजर रही थी। पुलिस के द्वारा रोके जाने पर पुलिस टीम पर गाड़ी में सवार लोगों द्वारा फायर किया गया। पुलिस के द्वारा गाड़ी को रोके जाने के निर्देश देने के बावजूद वाहन सवार लोग नहीं रुके।

पुलिस के द्वारा भी अपने बचाव में फायर किया गया जिसमें एक व्यक्ति के पैर में गोली लगी है। पूछताछ में पता चला है कि उपरोक्त अभियुक्त से दिनांक 14 जनवरी 2023 को हुई लूट की घटना में फरार चल रहा था। गिरफ्तार अभियुक्त से लूट की घटना में प्रयोग में लायी गयी गाडी अर्टिगा सफेद रंग नं0 यूपी 21 एन डब्लू 0006 बरामद की गयी हैं। उसके दो अन्य साथी मौके से फरार हो गए हैं जिनकी तलाश के लिए कौंबिंग अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।
