बतादे की मेरठ विकास प्राधिकरण के प्रवर्तन खण्ड जोन सी क्षेत्र में बिना मानचित्र स्वीकृत के किए जा रहे थे कई अवैध व्यवसायिक निर्माण जिन पर मेरठ विकास प्राधिकरण द्वारा कार्रवाई नहीं की जा रही थी जिसके बाद संवाद मीडिया के पत्रकार विजय वर्मा द्वारा प्रमुखता के साथ खबर प्रकाशित की गई, जिसके बाद मेरठ विकास प्राधिकरण आया एक्शन मोड में और जोन सी में किए जा रहे जगह जगह अवैध फैक्ट्री, गोदाम, दुकानें, दुकानों की मार्किट, मंडप जैसे व्यवसायिक अवैध निर्माणों पर की गई सील की कार्यवाही
शमन शुल्क के रूप में आने वाले करोड़ों रुपए के राजस्व की हो रही है हानी को पत्रकार द्वारा खबर प्रकाशित करने पर रोका गया। और अब देखने वाली बात यह है कि इन अवैध निर्माणों पर मेडा द्वारा जो सील की कार्रवाई की गई है वह सील कब तक इन अवैध निर्माणों पर टिकी रहेगी।
